Spring is coming fast!

It is obviously still winter, but the seasons are definitely changing.  We already have footsteps of spring blooming in a few places on the bluff top and it won't be long before the coast's iconic wild iris burst forth in splendiferous profusion in all of our meadows.  If you are into wildflowers this is the place for you!  A few years ago, one of the native plant enthusiasts in our community wrote a book about our wildflowers and it includes a couple of hundred different kinds.  (It is out of print and you won't find it on Amazon, but I can point you in the right direction to obtain a copy, or I'll loan you mine.)  wildflowersThe northward migration of gray whales is about to start in earnest and people are already seeing a spout or two as they walk the bluff top trail.  Song sparrows are beginning to live up to their Latin name of Melospiza melodia and the bucks and does are getting amorous.

The average price of a home is still down well below the highs of a few years ago and real estate here in The Sea Ranch is beginning to move at more normal rates.  This is definitely still a buyers market right now with many homes being offered at very reasonable prices.  I would love to show you what we have to offer and help you obtain the financing that can make one of these wonderful homes yours.  Having built my own home in The Sea Ranch and lived here going on twelve years, I offer a prospective that can be very useful to you in deciding which property will suit you best, whether you intend to live here full time or part time.  I make it a point to be knowledgable about every single property being offered and can provide useful information about everything from the reputation of the builder to the livability of the home's microclimate.  Give me an idea of what you are looking for and I'll not only help you find it, but also see you through the entire process of obtaining it and getting settled into it.  After you buy your Sea Ranch home, we'll be neighbors so you can be certain that I will look after your best interests all the way through the process.

A visit to The Sea Ranch to look at property can be a wonderful experience on a number of levels.  The wildflowers alone are worth the trip!
